    February 2nd, 2022
Biden's Border Crisis is Worse Than Ever

The Worst December in DHS History: 178,840 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border, making this the highest total for December in DHS history.
    • Nearly two million: That's how many illegal immigrants Border Patrol has caught attempting to cross the border since Biden took office.
    • 11,921: The number of unaccompanied children Border Patrol encountered just last month.
    • Roughly 500,000: The estimated number of illegal immigrants that have escaped into the U.S. without apprehension. We may never know who these individuals are or where they went.
The root cause: Biden's failed policies created the crisis at the southern border. Biden has:
Bottom line: Biden's refusal to secure our border has tragic consequences. Illegal drugs are pouring into America, with fentanyl overdoses becoming the leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 18 and 45. Open borders bring human trafficking, violence, and abuse to our doorstep.

But Biden still hasn't visited the border. He doesn't care.
Red State Recovery: GOP Policies Work

Red State Rebound: Newly released December Data from the Labor Department confirms that Republican governors and legislatures are leading the way in getting Americans back to work.

    The numbers don't lie:
    • 16 of the top 20 states for jobs recovered since the coronavirus pandemic began are led by Republican governors.
    • 18 of the top 20 states for jobs recovered have Republican-controlled legislatures.
    • The top nine states for jobs recovered are all led by Republicans.
    • The top 10 states with the lowest unemployment rates are all led by Republicans.
"Republican governors and legislatures deliver results, while Biden and Democrat governors are leaving Americans behind," said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. "Despite reckless spending, skyrocketing prices, and forced mandates, Republican commitments to commonsense, conservative economic policies are leading the way."

While red states put Americans back to work, Democrats' job-killing policies and economic lockdowns are destroying their states.
Expanding the Party, Investing in Communities

The Republican National Committee is continuing to grow the Party, invest in communities, and mobilize support ahead of the midterms.
    • This week, the RNC opened two new Community Centers - part of the RNC's multimillion-dollar minority engagement effort and long term investments in communities.
Houston, Texas: The RNC opened its fourth Hispanic Community Center in Texas, and 8th across the county.
    • As Hispanic voters continue to shift to the Republican party, our community centers are forging the way for voters to be heard, engaged, and involved.
Robeson County, North Carolina: The RNC opened its first Native American Community Center. After seeing gains in Native American communities in 2020, the RNC is ensuring to continue to grow the Party in 2022 and beyond.

"The new community center - the first Native American office that the RNC is opening anywhere in the U.S. this election cycle - is the crown jewel of the approach," reported the Indigenous Wire.

    RNC Celebrates School Choice Week

This week, the Republican Party joined thousands of families and teachers across the country in celebrating freedom in K-12 education.

Escape route: School choice empowers students - especially those trapped in failing districts - to find the learning environment that best suits their needs.
    • Thanks to school choice laws, students all over America have taken advantage of charter school, private school, homeschool, distance learning, voucher, and open enrollment options.
    • Minority and low-income students are some of the biggest beneficiaries and supporters of school choice.
Families first: The Republican Party believes parents - no government bureaucrats - best understand their child's academic needs.

Standing with students: the RNC will always defend and support the expansion of school choice all over the country, ensuring that every child has access to the education that fulfills their needs.

SCOTUS Vacancies and Thinly Veiled Intentions

    • We know exactly who Joe Biden is going to nominate to the Supreme Court: a left-wing, radical, activist judge.
      • Disgustingly, Biden has openly said that the only other qualifications for his nominee are to be race (black) and gender (woman).
    • Regardless, this radical, activist judge will not stand up for Americans' Constitutional rights.
      • Biden will nominate a judge who is a threat to religious liberties, the Second Amendment, the right to life, and free speech.
    • Unfortunately, we're too familiar with progressive activist judges here in NC.
      • Democrats on the N.C. Supreme Court are beholden to radical activists groups that helped elect them.
        • For instance, Justice Anita Earls is the founder of the Southern Coalition for Social Justice, a Woke advocacy group with a radical agenda.
        • Her resume is replete with radical activism attacking election integrity, calling opponents racist, and exploiting the judiciary to advance the Left's agenda.
        • That's why Eric Holder and his friends spent $250,000 to get her elected, so she could continue her activism from the bench in the redistricting case and others.
        • "Nobody can argue with a straight face that Justice Earls will rule impartially on a case argued by her former law partner and funded by her campaign megadonor against the same group they spent years suing. This is dangerous territory for the judiciary." - NC Sen. Amy Galey (R-Alamance)
        • This is the end game of Democrats' 'Sue til Blue' strategy.
      • This is exactly what Biden and the Democrats intend to do to the Supreme Court of the United States.
    • President Trump and Republicans successfully delivered three Constitutionalist judges to the Supreme Court - Biden and Democrats will do anything they can to undo this accomplishment. Even pack the court.
      • Democrats unsuccessfully tried to smear President Trump's appointees, particularly Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.
    • We know this will be a fight - Democrats don't have a single vote to spare in the Senate.
      • Republicans will fight to defend Americans' Constitutional rights, expose Biden's nominee, and hold Senate Democrats accountable for their vote. We will do everything we can to stop Biden's radical nominee.
      • This constant threat to individual rights from progressive activists judges reinforces how critical it is for Republicans to win control of the U.S. Senate in 2022, and that means keeping a Republican in the Senate seat from North Carolina is absolutely vital.
    • Chairwoman McDaniel's Statement on Biden's Supreme Court Remarks.

"Families can't afford gas or groceries because of Joe Biden, and yet all his White House want to talk about is their radical late-term abortion agenda - they couldn't be more out of touch if they tried."

  • WASHINGTON - Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the average price per gallon doubling since Joe Biden took office:

"Joe Biden's war on American energy has forced families across the country to empty their wallets to fill their tanks. Unfortunately, Biden is doubling-down on his disastrous agenda because he's not the one paying the price - the American people are."

RNC Statement on Supreme Court Ruling on Biden's Vaccine Mandate

WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel issued the following statement regarding the Supreme Court ruling on Biden's authoritarian vaccine mandate:

"The Supreme Court issued a stay blocking the Biden administration's authoritarian vaccine mandate for private businesses. We are proud to have filed one of the lawsuits challenging the Biden administration and are encouraged by this ruling, but the fight is not over. The Republican National Committee will continue to stand up for businesses and workers."

RNC Statement on March for Life

WASHINGTON - Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the annual March for Life:

"For the 49th year, pro-life Americans will take to the streets of Washington D.C. to march in defense of the unborn. It's a joyful celebration of life and a reminder that every member of our society - especially our most vulnerable - have inherent, God-given worth. The Republican Party will continue to stand for the sanctity of life and fight back against Joe Biden and Democrats' increasingly radical abortion agenda."

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES (and not in a good way)

Thursday marked one year since Joe Biden was sworn in as President of the United States. Instead of defeating COVID and unifying the country as he promised, President Biden and the Democrats' far-left socialist policies have worsened our divisions and left Americans poorer and worse off than they were a year ago.
Biden's Economic Crisis: Inflation has gone up every month of Biden's presidency. Americans are paying more for just about everything. Last year, Biden's Economic Crisis cost the average worker nearly two paychecks.

Biden's Energy Crisis: Since taking office, Biden has enacted an anti-energy agenda that has caused energy prices to skyrocket. The national average for a gallon of gas reached $3.28 per gallon in December, with a total rise of 49.6% for that year.

Biden's Border Crisis: Because of President Biden and Congressional Democrats' open-border policies, every state is a border state. Since Joe Biden took office, over 1.7 MILLION illegal immigrants have been apprehended at our southern border.

Biden's Education Crisis: Biden promised to work to re-open schools in his first 100 days, but his administration secretly worked with teach union bosses to keep schools closed and label concerned parents as "domestic terrorists."

Biden's Crime Crisis: Following a year of "defund the police" rhetoric, over a dozen major U.S. cities had record-high homicide rates in 2021, and at least 16 U.S. cities set new homicide records last year.

Biden's COVID Crisis: President Biden failed in his promise to "shut down" the virus, and his lack of leadership left many Americans struggling to find tests and treatment. This month, the U.S. broke the record for most COVID hospitalizations, and more Americans died from COVID in 2021 than in 2020.

Biden's National Security Crisis: Joe Biden has been weak on the world stage, from the disastrous pullout and Taliban takeover of Afghanistan to an emboldened Russia threatening Ukraine and the failure to hold Communist China accountable for its lack of transparency and mishandling of the COVID outbreak.

RNC Statement on the Biden Admin Withdrawing its Emergency Vaccine Mandate

WASHINGTON - Following news that the Biden administration has decided to withdraw its emergency vaccine mandate on private businesses, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement:

"Today marks a major victory in the RNC's fight to protect workers and businesses from Biden and Democrats' authoritarian vaccine mandates. Hardworking Americans should not be forced to choose between being vaccinated and providing for their families. The Biden administration may have surrendered their attempt to force their 'emergency' vaccine mandate, but the fight is not over. The Republican National Committee's legal team will continue to protect workers and businesses form Joe Biden's authoritarian overreach."

    NATIONAL POLL WORKER RECRUITMENT WEEK

    • A Poll worker is an individual who works inside a polling location for the local elections office during early voting and/or on Election Day.
      • Individuals must be trained by the local elections office on their specific role.
    • There is a severe shortage of election and poll workers throughout the entire country.
    • Poll workers increase confidence in the election process by ensuring elections are free and fair of any election related irregularities, violations, and disruptions.
    • National Poll Worker Recruitment week is a great opportunity to engage citizens who want to ensure transparency in our elections.
    • For the RNC, every week is poll worker week - they have made significant investments in North Carolina and across the nation to ensure election integrity.
      • The NC Victory Office is hosting leadership training events focused on Grassroots Engagement, Voter Registration, Election Integrity, and others.
      • Volunteers can sign up here to engage with the RNC leadership training and help ensure Republicans WIN BACK congress this year.
    • From 1982 to 2019 the RNC was prohibited from taking part in poll-watching and other election monitoring activities due to a consent decree filed by the DNC.
      • This meant the RNC was unable to actively take part in election integrity, from boots on the ground to legal efforts.
    • The decree's removal in 2019 allowed the RNC and NCGOP to being building an election integrity operation, which now leads the way for the entire Republican ecosystem.
    • The RNC has hired fifteen election integrity directors in key states and twelve election integrity state counsels, including North Carolina.
      • Election integrity state directors are tasked with recruiting and training election integrity volunteers to poll-watch, collaborating with state parties and local stakeholders, and promoting best practices for fair, secure elections.
      • Election integrity state counsels are tasked with providing counsel to the state directors, submitting public information requests, recruiting and organizing volunteer attorneys, and assisting in initiating strategic litigation.
    • RNC's recent investments in Virginia's November election proved the effectiveness of the program.
      • 11 paid election integrity staffers on the ground in Virginia.
      • Over 50 poll-watching trainings with over 3,200 attendees.
      • Over 7,150 poll-watching shifts scheduled.
      • A HUGE VICTORY at the ballot box.
    • Poll workers are important because they promote transparency for both parties.
      • With voter confidence at historic lows, this transparency and accountability is vital to restoring trust and making sure it's easy to vote, but harder to cheat.
    • Americans deserve to have faith that their elections are free, fair, and transparent, and Americans who volunteer to work at polls play a crucial part in ensuring that transparency.
    • As we work to recruit as many volunteers as possible, get your community voters plugged in to election integrity efforts. Sign volunteers up for leadership training here!

WASHINGTON - Today Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement as the Ketanji Brown Jackson hearings begin:

"Americans will be watching this week as Joe Biden's nominee must address unanswered questions regarding her radical record, praise of Critical Race Theory, and soft-on-crime sentencing. Ketanji Brown Jackson is the far-left activist judge that Joe Biden promised to nominate, and that out-of-touch agenda will be on full display for the American people this week."

    ON COVID, BIDEN IS ABDICATOR-IN-CHIEF

Joe Biden repeatedly promised to "shut down the virus, not the country."

But almost a year into his presidency, Biden has not "shut down" COVID. He refused to even order enough tests.

The U.S. registered 1 million COVID infections in 24 hours this week, "doubling the figure from just four days ago and setting a global record."

Biden was warned. But his administration repeatedly turned down plans to expand testing.
    • In the spring, the White House "never followed up" on a proposal to purchase millions of rapid tests.
    • In October, the Biden administration rejected a proposal for "free rapid tests for the holidays."
    • In early December, the White House Press Secretary mocked and dismissed sending at-home test kits to all Americans.
Scrambling: Biden has announced that 500 million tests will be sent out in January, but the contract has yet to be signed.

Thanks to Biden, Democrat-run communities are reverting to policies from the earliest days of the pandemic, like lockdowns. More than 5,200 public schools closed their doors for at least one day this week and switched to virtual learning - again.

Biden was unprepared for Omicron and how quickly it would spread. But rather than take responsibility, he insists this is a "pandemic of the unvaccinated" and that "there is no federal solution" to the virus after months of promising to "end this."
    Watch Biden lie.

POOR JOBS NUMBERS, SLUGGISH ECONOMY HITS BIDEN'S APPROVAL RATING

Bad news for Biden: A new CNBC poll was released and it's not flattering.
    • 60% disapprove of Biden's handling of the economy.
    • 55% disapprove of Biden's handling of the pandemic.
    • 56% disapprove of the job Biden is doing as president, a record high in CNBC's poll.
No one to blame but himself. Biden's failed policies have consequences. Just look at the most recent jobs report, the worst of Biden's presidency so far:
    • 199,000: The number of jobs the economy added back in December - less than half what economists had predicted.
    • 3.6 million: That's how many Americans lost their jobs during the pandemic and have yet to get them back.
    • 10.5 million: The number of job openings businesses are struggling to fill - a near record high.
Scratching the surface: This data, which reflects a weak recover, was collected before Omicron hit the economy. The situation is likely even worse than the data reflects.

Biden's sluggish job growth is compounded by rising prices for everyday goods and a supply chain crisis that's causing shortages and emptying store shelves.
    • These problems will only get worse thanks to Biden's job-killing vaccine mandate, forcing Americans to choose between personal freedom and their livelihoods.
"Biden and the Democrats do not care about the harms they're causing Americans - from rapidly rising prices on everything from gas to groceries, to job-killing mandates, to a pandemic they promised to shut down," RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said. "Joe Biden doesn't care and the American people are paying the price."

Bottom line: Americans are waking up to Biden's failed policies. They'll hold him accountable at the ballot box this November.

    HYPOCRISY, THY NAME IS SCHUMER

Double Standards: Chuck Schumer made it clear he wants to eliminate the filibuster and radically change the Senate's rules because he doesn't have the votes to ram through Democrats' federal election takeover.
    • Flashback: In 2005, when Senate Democrats were in the minority, Schumer said eliminating the filibuster would "make this country into a banana republic, where if you don't get your way, you change the rules. Are we gonna let them? It will be a doomsday for Democracy if we do."
Schumer's hypocrisy is one of many Democrat flip-flops on the filibuster:
    • Joe Biden: In 2005, he said eliminating the filibuster would be the "arrogance of power" and a "fundamental power grab by the majority party."
    • Dick Durbin: in 2018, Democrat Senator Dick Durbin said ending the filibuster "would be the end of the Senate."
    • Barack Obama: in 2005, Obama said the filibuster protected "free and democratic debate."
Bottom line: Democrats want to ram through their federal election takeover that would eviscerate widely-popular provisions like voter ID. Schumer and Democrats' efforts to change Senate rules are about one thing: power.

    SCHOOL'S OUT

Two years later, Democrats (at the behest of powerful teachers' union bosses) are attempting to again force lockdowns on America's students.

In Democrat strongholds across the country - including Massachusetts, Virgina, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Seattle, Chicago, Portland, and Washington D.C. - local teachers' unions have threatened to strike if their demands for virtual learning are not met.

The impact: Experts have sounded the alarm over the "crushing" harms of prolonged school closures on kids' mental health, noting "dramatic increases" in failing grades and a host of other mental health problems.

New Year, Same Lockdowns: Democrats are beginning the new year much like they began the last: keeping our kids out of schools and bowing to teachers' unions.

Biden failed to "shut down the virus" as promised, and America's students are left to pay the price.

    DEMOCRATS PUSH NON-CITIZEN VOTING
    • Democrats are getting bolder in their attempts to undermine election integrity.
    • They started lying about voter ID in states like North Carolina, Georgia, and Texas. Then the Biden Department of Justice starting suing Republican states.
    • Now, Democrats are going for it all: they want to let non-citizens vote in American elections. The left care more about power than what it means to be an American citizen.
    • In December, the New York City council adopted a resolution allowing about 900,000 non-citizens to vote in New York City elections.
      • This is much larger than the margin in last year's New York Mayor Democratic primary, meaning these non-citizen votes could have swung the race to another candidate.
    • On Monday, the Republican National Committee (RNC) filed suit against Mayor Eric Adams, the New York City Council, and the New York City Board of Elections after the city adopted their radical law allowing non-citizens to vote in city elections.
    • For background:
      • This radical scheme passed by New York Democrats to allow foreign citizens to decide American elections is a blatant attack on election integrity and violates the state constitution which requires New York voters to be U.S. citizens.
      • The RNC is joined in the suit by the New York Republican Party and several concerned New York officeholders and voters, including city council members who voted against the legislation, naturalized citizens, and even Democrats.
      • In addition to violating the state constitution, the suit demonstrates how Democrats' legislation violates New York election statute and the state's Municipal Home Rule Law.
      • The suit also raises important concerns about how the law will be implemented and whether non-citizens will end up on the same voter registration list used for state-level and federal elections.
    • The RNC also recently sued two cities in Vermont for allowing non-citizens to vote in municipal elections.
    • Think it's just a New York problem? Think again! After all, Governor Roy Cooper did kick off his reelection campaign with a cocktail fundraiser in New York City.
      • In 2018, Cooper vetoed legislation to remove non-citizens from North Carolina voting rolls.
      • This veto came AFTER the U.S. Department of Justice concluded an investigation and charged 19 foreign nationals with illegally voting in our elections.
      • It wasn't Cooper's only time supporting illegal voters; in November 2016 Governor cooper vetoed legislation that would cross-check and remove illegal immigrants from North Carolina voting rolls.
      • If Democrats controlled the General Assembly, they would corrupt our elections with illegal voters.
    • Americans do not support letting non-citizens vote in American elections.
      • 71% of Americans opposed San Francisco's decision to let non-citizens vote in school board elections.
      • Voters in four states - Colorado, Florida, North Dakota, and Alabama - have overwhelmingly supported ballot measures banning non-citizens from voting.
    • This is yet another example of Democrats being radically out of touch with the American people when it comes to elections.
    • Democrats are struggling to pass their federal election takeover bills so they're stacking the deck by de-valuing citizenship and leaving our elections wide open to foreign interference.
    • Democrats are the party of foreign election interference; Republicans are the party of election integrity.

North Carolinians deserve to have trust in elections, the utmost confidence their ballot is protected, and their vote counts. That's why the N.C. Republican Party has established a statewide Election Integrity Committee. Join the Election Integrity Team in North Carolina

Since Thanksgiving, members and friends of the CCRW were out Ringing the Salvation Army Bell three days a week, at two separate locations. Judy Wilgus coordinated the western end of the county at Lowes Foods in Cape Carteret, while Mary Boughton took charge of the eastern end at Hobby Lobby in Morehead City. The  Red Kettle Campaign is a worldwide tradition that enables the Salvation Army to continue its year-round efforts at helping those who would otherwise be forgotten. For Carteret County these efforts help provide toys and food for families in the community during the holiday season, as well as supporting the Salvation Army's social programs and operation costs throughout the year. Major Goldfarb's goal was to raise $80,000 this year! CCRW is proud to be part of this tradition for the last 10 years, and look forward to ringing each year.

    BIDEN ECONOMY LEAVING AMERICANS BEHIND
Republican Recovery: State job numbers are out. As Americans have seen for months, 17 of the top 20 states for jobs recovered since the coronavirus pandemic began are led by Republicans.
    • 16 of the top 20 are led by Republican governors and 17 have Republican-controlled legislatures.
    • The nine states with the lowest unemployment rates are all led by Republicans.
White red states are bouncing back, those with Democrat governors are still languishing in an economic slump.
    • The seven states with the highest unemployment rates are all led by Democrat governors: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, and New York.
    • Democrat-led states have an average unemployment rate of 5.1%. That's 1.4 percentage points higher than their Republican counterparts.
Historic Price Increases: The latest economic news comes as inflation indicators hits a nearly 40-year high.
    • Consumer prices increased by 6.8% in November compared to last year, according to the Labor Department.
    • Producer prices surged 9.6% from last year, hitting a record high for the eighth month in a row.
Just in time for Christmas: These numbers hurt hard-working Americans already stretched thin by the pandemic.
    • Biden's own staff is admitting these higher prices are here to stay.
Gas, Groceries, Gifts. The RNC launched a new video exposing how Bidenflation is hurting families over the holidays.

    FREEDOM: "WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?"

Your Freedoms: When asked this week about his unconstitutional vaccine mandate, Joe Biden lashed out at Americans not complying with his decree.
    • "So everyone talks about freedom and not to have a shot or a test... what's the big deal?"
    • This isn't the first time Biden has written off freedom: he previously said his vaccine mandates are "not about freedom."
    • Losing in court, Biden's comments come as his unconstitutional mandate is failing to pass legal tests.
More Democrat lockdowns and restrictions? Biden's team this week refused to rule out future lockdowns and restrictions.
    • Walking away: Biden was asked this week if he is responsible for coronavirus deaths and why he has not held the Chinese Communist Party accountable for the origins of COVID. His response? Biden smirked and waived the question off.
Broken Promises: Biden promised to "shut down the virus" and failed, so now he is threatening Americans' freedoms and refusing to take responsibility.

AS CRIME RATES SOAR, PELOSI PLAYS POSSUM

Democrat Nancy Pelosi acknowledged the "attitude of lawlessness in our country" but feigned ignorance about why this would be during a news conference this week.

The answer is obvious. Law enforcement has told us it's Democrats' "bad law and bad policy" that has increased crime throughout the country. Just look at a few of them: Silent Biden: Homicides are hitting all-time highs in Democrat-run cities and smash-and-grab thieves are targeting retailers. Still, Joe Biden refuses to act or even to condemn the crime spree.

His silence is inexcusable and the GOP will continue to hold him accountable.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE RNC!

After a difficult year for many Americans, this holiday season can be hard on families because of inflated prices and stretched resources due to failed Democrat leadership.

The Republican National Committee is doing what they can this holiday season to give back:
    • Charity drives to collect canned food items, toys for children, and writing letters and sending care packages to our troops serving overseas during the holiday season.
    • Some of these efforts have been held at RNC Community Centers, including Hispanic Community Centers in San Antonio, TX, and Doral, FL, and at Black Engagement Community Centers in College Park, GA, and Cleveland, OH.
With higher prices, empty store shelves, and worker shortages nationwide, the RNC continues to help those in need and remind all Americans from all backgrounds that they have a home in the Republican Party.

GOVERNOR ROY COOPER'S HANDPICKED NCSBE DIRECTOR CAUGHT IN ANOTHER BIG LIE AS MODEMS SECRETLY REMOVED FROM NC VOTING EQUIPMENT

    December 14th

    For Immediate Release

Election integrity is a top issue among North Carolina citizens concerned about vulnerabilities within our voting systems, and a handpicked political appointee of Governor Roy Cooper has just compounded that sense of distrust among the electorate. For months N.C. State Board of Elections Executive Director Karen Brinson Bell denied the existence of modems in North Carolina voting equipment and stonewalled requests from state legislators to inspect the voting equipment in question.

Now we lear Director Brinson Bell lied. Again.

After lying to a federal court and subsequently misleading the N.C. General Assembly, Director Brinson Bell continues to undermine election integrity as it is revealed modems were removed last month from in-use voting equipment in at least six NC counties. This revelation comes after months of Director Brinson Bell refusing to acknowledge the existence of modems in voting equipment and refusing inspection requests made by members of the N.C. House of Representatives.

The modems' existence, and their secret removal, came only after lawmakers made a public records request following reports of the clandestine removal of dozens of modems contained in voting equipment in Watauga County.

"We firmly believe that had the request for the documentation of the removal of modems not been made, Director Brinson Bell would have continued to deny their existence and would have hidden the fact that they were removing the modems from the voting equipment," said N.C. House Freedom Caucus Chairman Representative Keith Kidwell (R-Beaufort).

With voter confidence at historic lows, Director Brinson Bell's latest lie represents a critical third strike and destroys any remaining credibility she may have had to oversee elections in this state. Voters are demanding and deserve election integrity, yet all they've been getting from the most partisan State Board of Elections ever is deception and dishonesty.

How much more must the People of North Carolina endure before the Cooper administration is held accountable for collusion and lies such as these? North Carolina law provides that Director Brinson Bell can be "removed for cause" - what more cause could there be than lying to voters, legislators, and the public at large?

The 3rd District Christmas Party was held at Ironwood Golf & Country Club in Greenville. Congressman Murphy was the guest speaker, and attendees participated in an ornament exchange narrated by Ceil Wasserman.

                                                                                                                                      December 14, 2021

Highest Inflation Surge in Nearly Four Decades

Bad news for Americans: The latest Consumer Price Index numbers are in. It's bad. Americans are seeing a 6.8% price increase in November compared to last year. That's the largest annual increase in over 39 years!

What that means for pocketbooks: Real average hourly earnings decreased 1.9%, with inflation eating up workers' wage gains.

Biden's reckless spending sprees are making everything more expensive. Just look at the numbers:
    • Gas: 🔺 58.1% since last year
    • Bacon:  🔺 21%
    • Eggs:  🔺 8%
    • Steak:  🔺 24.6%
    • Propane & Firewood:  🔺 34.3%
    • Furniture:  🔺11.8%
    • Used Cars & Trucks:  🔺 31.4%
    • Coffee:  🔺 7.5%
    • Cigarettes:  🔺 9.4%
    • Hotels & Motels:  🔺 25.5%
    • Car & Truck Rentals:  🔺 37.2%
    • Bikes:  🔺 9.4%
Who does this hurt: More than 70% of households making less than $40,000 have experienced financial hardship due to Bidenflation.

Biden is making it worse: Biden is pushing his $2 trillion Build Back Broke agenda, which will only make inflation worse.
    • New Congressional Budget Office numbers out on Friday showed if Biden's new policies were made permanent, it could add nearly $3 trillion to the national debt.
    • RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel: "Joe Biden and the Democrats' Build Back Broke agenda created historically high inflation, making Americans pay more for nearly everything this holiday season...Americans can thank Biden and the Democrats for the most expensive holiday season on record."
Gas. Groceries. Gifts. Americans are paying more for nearly everything this holiday season because of Joe Biden and Democrats' failed policies.
Biden Lies: One Year Since Biden Promised No Vaccine Mandate

This week marked the one-year anniversary of Biden's vow that he "wouldn't demand [the vaccine] to be mandatory."
    • The Biden Administration argues for months a vaccine mandate would be a counterproductive overreach.
    • Press Secretary Psaki said, that's 'not a role that the federal government even has the power to make."
Politically expedient: All of these promises went out the window when it was no longer politically expedient and Biden announced Americans could be fired for not complying with his federal mandate.
    • Republicans Fighting Back: The Republican National Committee, GOP-led states, and small businesses sued and we are winning in court, freezing the mandate from going into effect.
Voters know: Democrats are more worried about advancing their draconian policies than they are preserving individual liberties. Just look at what they're doing at the state and local levels: These mandates hit our frontline workers and small businesses hardest. That's bad for everyone, but thankfully Republicans are fighting back and winning.
    • "The Biden administration does not have the authority to force hardworking Americans to choose between being vaccinated and providing for their families," RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel.
"This egregious affront to constitutionality and freedom must not be allowed to stand - that's why the RNC is suing the Biden administration to defend the rights of every American."

SUPREME COURT INJECTS CHAOS INTO NC ELECTIONS

    December 8, 2021
    For Immediate Release

Under Republican leadership, state lawmakers conducted a redistricting process marked by unrivaled transparency, in full view of the public, producing maps as dictated by the Constitution and previous court orders.

In stark contrast, the Democrat majority in the N.C. Supreme Court, cloaked in secrecy, just blocked primary elections for hundreds of candidates who already filed to run for office. This just injected more chaos and confusion into elections at the direct expense of the people of North Carolina.

We look forward to the high court hearing the actual merits of this case and a final ruling that acknowledges the most transparent redistricting process in history, affirming the legality of the maps that process produced.

Congratulations to Senator Norman Sanderson on being inducted into the NCGOP Hall of Fame!

RNC Statement Honoring the Life of Senator Bob Dole

    December 5th, 2021
WASHINGTON - Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement honoring the life of Senator Bob Dole:

"The Republican Party holds Elizabeth Dole and the Dole family in our prayers. Bob Dole was a World War 2 hero, RNC Chairman, U.S. Senator, and GOP nominee for President, exemplifying the very best of our party and our country. His dedication to our nation is a testament to his legacy of service, and we all owe Bob Dole and his family an immense debt of gratitude. Rest in peace, Bob Dole."

In October, the RNC passed a resolution honoring Senator Dole, Elizabeth, and Robin Dole for their ongoing service to our country and to celebrate his 98th birthday.
Statement on Biden's November Jobs Report Disaster

    December 3rd, 2021
WASHINGTON - Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the disastrous November jobs report:

"Month after month,. Biden's economic failures have left American families further and further behind. This jobs report - the worst of the year - proves what Americans are seeing and feeling: the Democrat agenda is an absolute disaster. Trillions more in reckless spending, raising taxes on the middle class, and forcing Americans to be fired will only further squander the economic recovery and leave working families struggling to get by. Democrat policies reflect it, and skyrocketing prices and a failing job market show it: Biden and the Democrats don't care about American workers and small businesses."

    • The economy added back just 210,000 jobs in November, less than half the jobs economists had predicted.
      • In three of the past four months, the economy has added far fewer jobs than expected.
      • This is the worst jobs report of the year - November saw the fewest jobs return since Biden took office.

DEMOCRATS' VOTE TO BUILD BACK BROKE

House Democrats put loyalty to Nancy Pelosi over the American people, and passed Joe Biden's Build Back Broke agenda despite bipartisan opposition to the reckless spending.

Build Back Broke: This bill will worsen inflation by pumping trillions of dollars in wasteful spending into the economy, give tax cuts to the wealthy, hike taxes on middle-class families, and add hundreds of billions to the national debt.
Progressive Wishlist: Here is what the House Democrats voted for:
Adding insult to injury: Democrats blocked common-sense amendments from making the cut. Apparently, Democrats didn't think it was worth:
But as Democrats fight for the swamp, Republicans fight for the American people.
Come next November, the RNC will make sure voters remember that Democrats voted for this monstrosity, and that Republicans fought against it.
    BIDEN'S BORDER CRISIS

Another record: More than 164,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended at the southern border in October.
Not slowing down: These numbers are the latest indication that Biden's border crisis isn't slowing down and is not under control.
    • A 128% increase over last October.
      • A 209% increase from the average number of October apprehensions during the Trump Administration.
      • 12,807 unaccompanied children were apprehended.
    • Over 1.6 million illegal immigrants have been caught attempting to cross the border since Biden took office.
Hurting our communities: Biden's open border policies have enabled surges in drug trafficking, rises in crime, and a depletion of border patrol.
Biden lied. The border crisis is not under control, and Americans are paying the price.
BIDEN & CO. WAGE WAR ON AMERICAN ENERGY

Democrats are determined to undermine American energy independence, and Joe Biden's recent trip to Michigan to promote his "Build Back Broke" agenda was no different.

Buried in Biden's $1.75 trillion reckless tax and spending package is a climate radical's wish list:
Meanwhile, the Biden administration has toyed with the idea of shutting down the Line 5 pipeline, which helps provide Michigan families and businesses with the fuel they need.
    • Closing the pipeline would result in even worse price hikes and compound our energy shortage.
    • This comes after Biden cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline earlier this year.
No laughing matter: When asked about her plan to increase U.S. oil production to help drive down gas prices, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm cackled, "That's hysterical!"

These progressive pet projects are going to help families trying to fill their gas tanks and keep their homes warm this winter.
    • The national average for gas prices is up 61% or $1.30 from last year.
    • Granholm has already informed Americans they'll pay more to heat their homes this winter.
The Biden administration has repeatedly shown just how tone deaf and out of touch Democrats are to the priorities of everyday Americans.

RNC Chairman, Ronna McDaniel: "Threatening to shut down pipelines and imposing the highest tax hikes in decades while simultaneously imposing an unconstitutional mandate on small businesses and giving tax cuts to the rich prove just how out of touch Biden and Democrats are."

    BIDEN'S WAGE DELUSION

    Biden keeps lying about wages.

Biden's fiction: In the past month, Biden has parroted his false claim that "wages are up" and growing "faster than inflation."

    • October 21: "Wages are actually up."
    • October 31: "Worker pay has actually gone up."
    • November 2: "Wages have gone up faster than inflation."
    • November 5: "Working Americans are seeing their paychecks go up."
    • November 10: "Everything from a gallon of gas to a loaf of bread costs more, and it's worrisome even though wages are going up."
      • Biden falsely claimed three times on Wednesday that "wages are up."
The Facts: Inflation has completely wiped out nominal wage gains, with real wages GOING DOWN. According to the Labor Department, real average hourly earnings decreased 1.2% from last October, and real average weekly earnings decreased 1.6%.

The fact wages are decreasing is obvious to anyone paying attention:

    • CBS News: "Costs are continuing to rise at a faster pace than hourly earnings."
    • NBC News: "Americans hourly wages now declining 1.2%."
    • Former Obama official Steve Rattner: "Americans' wages are actually going down at the moment in real terms after inflation."
And because Biden is either lying or extremely confused, here are some handy charts that might clear things up for him.

From CNBC: "Inflation has taken away all the wage gains for workers and then some."
From The Washington Post: "inflation cancels out any gains."
Compounding Biden's political problem, a new Morning Consult poll shows 62% of voters hold Biden's policies as "responsible" for inflation, and according to a Harvard-Harris poll, 58% oppose his "Build Back Broke" agenda with 56% saying it will make inflation even worse.

Biden's policies are failing. Real wages are going down under Bidenflation. But Biden is still refusing to recognize that a problem even exists. The American people can't trust him.

RNC Statement on October Jobs Report

WASHINGTON - Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the October Jobs Report.

"After months of failed policies and bad jobs reports, the one person who does not deserve credit for creating jobs is Joe Biden. After Biden and Democrats spent months paying Americans to stay home, Republican states led the way in lowering the unemployment rate and getting Americans back to work. To add to his list of failures, Biden announced an unconstitutional mandate threatening the jobs of millions of workers, Americans are paying more for everything from gas to groceries, and Democrats are pushing through trillions in spending and a tax cut for the wealthiest Americans. Voters soundly rejected Biden's failed economic agenda at the ballot box this week and will do so again in 2022."

    Key Takeaways:
    • The jobs report provides little consolation to the more than 4 million Americans who lost their job during the pandemic and have yet to get it back.
    • Just last week, Biden announced a vaccine mandate that threatens the jobs of millions of workers and promises to make the supply chain crises even worse.
      • One poll found that 7 in 10 unvaccinated workers would likely quit their jobs rather than adhere to the vaccine mandate.
    • U.S. economic growth is falling short of expectations under Biden, having suffered a "sharp deceleration" in the third quarter.
    • The unemployment rate didn't drop for all Americans - in fact, the unemployment rates for Black and Asian Americans didn't budge.
    • The unemployment rates for women and Black men actually increased in October.
    • There are still 7.4 million unemployed American workers, 1.7 million more than when the pandemic began.
    • The American workers who are returning to work are doing so in spite of Joe Biden and Democrats' policies, not because of them.
    • Now that Biden's policy of paying Americans more not to work has expired, it's no surprise more Americans are getting back to work.
    • There continues to be a worker shortage at a time when Americans are desperate to get back to work.
    • Democrats don't care about workers or the middle class - the largest part of the spending bill House Democrats are trying is a massive tax cut for the rich in blue states.
    • Biden's economic policies are continuing to squeeze hardworking families as we continue to see higher prices for groceries, gas, and goods.
      • Energy Secretary, Jennifer Granholm, was asked about Americans struggling with skyrocketing gas prices. Her response? "Ha ha ha, that is hilarious!" The American people deserve better - they are tired of liberal elites blaming others for their failed policies.
    • Voters know Republicans are leading the way. Virginia has elected a Republican Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, and voted to send a majority of Republicans to serve in the House of Delegates.
    • The last thing the American people need is trillions of new taxes and wasteful spending - Congress must reject Biden's radical agenda.

    REDISTRICTING

    House Redistricting Plan 2021/HSA-9
    House Bill 976/SL2021-175

Carteret County will remain in District 13. However, instead of sharing the district with Jones County, we will now have a portion of Craven, splitting Havelock between us and District 3.
    Senate Redistricting Plan 2021/SBK-7
    Senate Bill 739/SL2021-173

Carteret County will remain in District 2. The district, which was originally 3 counties (Carteret, Craven, & Pamlico), will now contain 8! Those counties include: Carteret, Pamlico, Hyde, Washington, Chowan, Martin, Halifax, and Warren.
    Congressional Redistricting Plan 2021/CST-13
While our district number has changed, from 3 to 1 (1st in NC!), we still have 17 counties. Well, 15 and a portion of 2. We've lost a bit of Onslow, all of Duplin, but gained more of Pitt County, and added Gates. Luckily, we get to keep our current Congressman.

    BIDEN'S WAR ON HOLIDAYS

A supply chain in crisis, Bidenflation, and sky-high energy costs... In Biden's America, your favorite holidays are under attack.

This Halloween, Bidenflation is taking its toll on Americans' wallets amid rising candy and costume prices, and stores have been "haunted by shipping issues" and missing inventory, leading to bare shelves.

This Thanksgiving, Americans aren't thankful for skyrocketing food costs making it "the most expensive meal in the history of the holiday." Nor are we thankful for the highest gas prices since 2014 and heating costs surging by as much as 54%, making it more expensive for Americans to travel and host family.

This Christmas, don't expect your gifts to arrive on time even as you pay more than every for them... that's if the Biden Administration doesn't try to cancel Christmas all together.

Biden is giving Americans a lump of coal during the holidays. Well, that's if Biden doesn't get his way and ban coal too.

TANKING POLL NUMBERS FOR JOE BIDEN

    • Joe Biden's policies are creating disaster at home and abroad - somehow, he was managed to botch every major challenge he has faced. The reality is getting clearer by the day: Biden is incapable of serving as Commander In Chief.
    • Biden's reckless decisions and policies are to blame for:
    • Amid these crises, what are Joe Biden's proposed solutions?
      • The largest tax increase in decades;
      • Trillions of dollars in new spending for the far-left's pet projects;
      • Forcing more burdensome regulations on small businesses.
    • The American people are losing faith in Joe Biden's leadership - they know he is a weak, failed leader.
      • Just 37% of Americans approve of Biden's job performance, according to a Quinnipiac poll.
        • His approval rating is even worse among independents - a dismal 28%!
      • A recent Zogby poll found his approval rating was even lower, just 36.4%.
      • Rasmussen's latest poll is also bad news for Biden - it found just 42% approval.
      • 62% of Americans blame Biden's policies for spiking inflation, a Politico/Morning Consult poll found.
        • Just 38% of voters said the country is "heading in the right direction."
      • Just 33% of Democrats have a "great deal" of trust in Biden's handling of COVID-19, a sharp drop from June.
      • 70% of Americans say they're facing increased hardship buying food, 67% are facing hardship buying gas, and 53% are facing hardship affording housing costs.
      • Even Chuck Schumer's polling shows Joe Biden's battleground approval is "erod[ing] dramatically" - only 41% of respondents approve of Biden's performance.

The North Carolina Republican Party Hall of Fame Dinner will be on Saturday, December 4th. Guest speakers include Matt Schlapp and Mercedes Schlapp.

From the Desk of Chairman Dave Wickersham:

Hello everyone! These are the days my friends and sometimes, like the song..."we thought they would never end!!" But they will and we will press on, confident in our values and message, regardless of where the new District lines may take us. We are scheduled for a call with NCGOP next week to discuss the options available for the new Districts, until then I really don't have any definitive information to share. I have been asked by several people about the maps. My stock answer has been, I will tell you everything I know, which is NOTHING! My approach has been to wait until we see something final and then deal with it. We have had no input on the process until the public comment period, I sent in written comments and hope many of you did the same.
    ...
We will have our Christmas Lunch at the Ironwood Golf and Country Club, 200 Golf Club Wynd, Greenville, NC 27834 from 11:30am-1:30pm on Saturday, December 11th. Congressman Greg Murphy will be our speaker and we will be asking for your RSVP over the next month, the cost will be $25.00 per person for a nice lunch. Ceil has been traveling but will be sending out a flyer soon with more details. We will be in full Christmas mode by then and might see a brief glimpse of that jolly old elf known the world over as Santa Claus! "Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!"

It seems as though every day we hear about another attack from the Socialists on our Freedom and Liberty as they work to transform America. The current move to mandate vaccinations, even to children, is one of the most chilling to me. The argument is not first about vaccination, it should be fist about why our government is forcing us to do something which should be an individual decision. This is all about government control and must be resisted in every way possible. How can everyone not see the danger in this type of Socialistic removal of individual freedom and liberty? Whether or not you get the vaccine must be an individual decision between you and your Doctor, the "government" should not abridge this basic freedom. Horribly, they (and we know who "they" are) are doing just that and requiring employers to enforce a mandate only throws gasoline on the fire. Requiring vaccinations as a condition of employment, whether in public service or in the private sector is an affront to all Americans that believe in basic human rights. The really scary thing is that they are getting away with it, supported by the algorithms of the formerly free media. A recent headline in USA Today screamed that our hospitals are being filled with children with covid, farm from the actual truth. The media no longer can be referred to as free and independent, they have become the "state" apparatchik to misinform and influence public opinion rather than investigate and report the facts.

However, there is some good news that should help encourage and uplift Patriots across the country. More and more people, just average Americans, are showing up at Republican meetings and events wanting to get involved because they can see what is happening. Concerned parents are attending school board and government meetings and demanding accountability from elected officials. Note they are not breaking windows, throwing fire bombs, or ransacking and looting, they are exercising their basic First Amendment rights under the Constitution of the United States. Polls continue to indicate the loss of support for the President and his Socialist cronies and crosses Party Lines. WE THE PEOPLE ARE STARTING TO FIGHT BACK! So, keep your boots on, stay engaged and informed, and keep asking yourself, what can I do to help in the battle to save America... and then go and do it!

Thank you for everything you do, we will prevail with God's help and grace guiding us.

    Dave

    October 25, 2021

Who benefits most from Biden's job-destroying $3.5 trillion tax-and-spending spree?

China, OPEC, Mexico, Russia...Not U.S. workers.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a new ad on October 19th exposing Democrats' plan to silence parents who want a say in their kids' education. As Democrats continue to prioritize their political agenda over students, Republicans continue to fight for parents' right to oversee their children's education.

The RNC's new ad comes on the heels of Biden's unprecedented decision to politicize the DOJ and FBI to target parents who question their children's curriculum - a decision made less than a week after Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe claimed  that parents shouldn't be "telling schools what they should teach." After over a year of prolonged remote learning and anti-science mask mandates, coupled with the latest attacks from Biden and Democrats on parents, it is no wonder that education has become the leading issue in the upcoming gubernatorial elections.

"Democrats want to control our children's education and silence parents who have an opinion," said RNC Chairman Ronna McDaniel. "The American people know the truth - parents, not unions or bureaucrats, are best equipped to oversee their children's education."

    Democrats' Freedom to "Cheat" Act

    • Senate Democrats' new election bill is no compromise - it's yet another attempt to take over state elections from the far-left.
    • With H.R. 1/S.1 failing, Democrats are attempting to rebrand their failed bill as the "Freedom to Vote Act." It should really be known as the Freedom to "Cheat" Act.
    • The Freedom to "Cheat" Act could come up for a vote in the Senate as early as Wednesday.
    • Democrats claim that their bill is about safeguarding democracy, but it's really a radical power grab over state-run elections. If passed, the bill would:
    • The bill includes nearly the same campaign funding scheme from H.R. 1, where taxpayers would provide up to a 600% match for political donations under $200.
    • By a wide margin, Americans support common sense reforms to secure elections.
      • By a 33 point margin, Americans believe that voting in their area is "easy" and want the main objective of any reforms to focus on making sure elections are "fair and free of voter fraud."
      • Support for voter ID laws has risen 13% among Black Americans and stands at 81% among all voters.
      • 68% of voters believe that state legislatures should decide the voting rules and regulations for their state, not the federal government.
      • 87% of voters are against ballot harvesting and 71% of voters believe ballots should not be accepted after Election Day.
    • Americans see through Democrats' election lies and Congress should immediately reject the far-left's Freedom To "Cheat" Act.
    • RNC Research: Democrats Freedom to "Cheat" Act.

    STATE BUDGET
final details of the budget are not yet available
    • The House and Senate have reached an agreement on the 2021-22 budge for North Carolina.
    • The $25.7 billion spending plan:
      • Balances the books
      • Places additional funding in the state's savings reserve.
      • Will keep the overall rate of spending within the combined growth of inflation and population.
    • State employees, teachers, and public safety officials will all receive a salary increase.
    • Additional funds will be directed to:
      • Education
      • Public Safety
      • Transportation
      • Health Care Initiatives
      • Broadband Connectivity
    • Will also likely contain tax cuts.
    • The budget has received bipartisan support in both the House and Senate.
    • Still has yet to be approved by Governor Cooper.

    REDISTRICTING
    • The House and Senate are actively engaged in the redistricting process, and have been for several weeks.
    • Several public hearings have been held across the state.
    • The Redistricting Committee continues to receive public input on the their website.

RNC CALLS FOR SPECIAL COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE HUNTER BIDEN

On the one-year anniversary of the publication of bombshell reporting on Hunter Biden's laptop, the RNC has released the following statement:

"The American people deserve an independent special counsel to lead the investigation into Hunter Biden's corrupt business practices. While Hunter is currently being investigated for tax fraud and money laundering, we have recently learned as Vice President, Biden shared a bank account with his son while Hunter was pursuing pay-to-play schemes with foreign oligarchs. Americans deserve full accountability and transparency as to how Biden and his administration are compromised by Hunter Biden." -- RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel

    • New bombshell revelations uncovered by the Daily Mail reveal Hunter Biden and Joe Biden shared a bank account - even paying many of each other's bills.
      • Hunter Biden is under investigation by federal prosecutors for "money laundering" related to his foreign business ties.
    • Reporting from Business Insider indicated that Hunter Biden touted high-level contacts in the Chinese government while trying to secure a $2 million retainer to unfreeze a Democrat donor's Libyan assets.
    • Politico recently confirmed the authenticity of many of the emails on Hunter Biden's laptop.
    • Joe Biden's brother-in-law, Jack Owens, asked Hunter Biden to help him secure a business license in China.
    • A year later, Owens expressed interest in attending a State Department event with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Joe Biden.

    STATE

AMERICANS REJECT DEMOCRAT'S RADICAL TAX & SPENDING PLANS

    • According to a CBS/YouGov poll, a majority of the American people think Democrats' radical $3.5 trillion tax and spending scheme will hurt or have no effect on their family.
      • 33% of Americans believe the bill would hurt them and their families, while 31% believe it would have no effect.
      • A dismal 36% of Americans believe the bill would help them.
    • It's not just the bill's astronomical cost that's a problem, it's the substance too. Americans reject the tenants of Democrats' socialist spending scam:
      • Tax hikes on those making as little as $50,000 a year.
      • An IRS spying scheme.
      • Halts on new U.S. oil and gas drilling.
      • Energy hikes that will raise your utility bills.
      • Mass amnesty.
      • Tax breaks for Democrats' allies in the media.
      • Trillions in new spending, including for free community college.
      • And that's just the beginning: if Bernie Sanders, AOC, and far-left Democrats on Capitol Hill get their way, this bill will drastically impact hard-working Americans.
    • It will potentially:
    • Under his spending spree, the Joint Committee on Taxation projects families who earn just $50,000 a year will pay more in taxes, breaking Biden's pledge to not to increase taxes on people earning less than $400,000 a year.
    • Worse yet for the Democrats, Joe Biden's approval numbers are tanking:
      • Just 38% of Americans approve of Biden's job performance.
      • Only 25% approve of his handling of immigration.
      • Less than 2 in 5 Americans support his handling of the economy.
    • The American people are rejecting Biden's radical spending plans just like they are rejecting his failed leadership as President. Biden should take the hint and reject the far-left radicals who are running his party.

STATEMENT ON DISASTROUS SEPTEMBER JOBS REPORT

    October 8,2021
Washington, DC - Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel released the following statement on the September jobs report:

"Joe Biden's Build Back Broke agenda continues to hurt American workers, drive up the cost of everyday goods, and crush small businesses. The latest jobs report, creating 300,000 fewer jobs than expected, proves that trillions more in reckless spending and higher taxes will only further squander the economic recover and leave working families behind. RNC'S STATEMENT ON BIDEN'S SPEECH ON WASTEFUL SPENDING

    October 4, 2021

Washington, DC - Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) released a statement on President Biden's speech about his wasteful spending spree:

"The dishonesty from Biden and the Democrats about their wasteful tax-and-spending spree won't cover up the fact that his agenda will hurt American workers, cause prices to skyrocket even further, and raise taxes on working families." - Emma Vaughn, RNC Spokesperson

    Biden's Border Crisis

    • The crisis at the border is worse than ever.
    • Joe Biden created the crisis at the border and is doing nothing to directly address it.
      • "Border Czar" Kamala Harris hasn't been to the epicenter of the crisis. If she doesn't care about the issue, why is she still the border czar?
    • There is a historic surge at our southern border:
      • In August, 208,887 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the southern border. This is the highest August number in 21 years.
      • August is the second month in a row when encounters surpassed 200,000.
      • August 2021's figure marks a 317% increase over August 2020.
      • This is a 340% increase from the average number of August apprehensions during the Trump administration.
      • Since Biden took office over 1.2 million illegal immigrants have been caught attempting to cross the border. This is higher than any year since 2001.
