I wear this ribbon because:

I mourn for American lives lost during Biden's bungled Afghanistan
withdrawal and for the Americans he left behind.

I will not let the media bury this story with the next news cycle.

I can't protest in the streets every day.
Contact Bob Cavanaugh for more information. For a ribbon, contact Dianne Tetreault ($5 each). All funds collected will be donated to help organize an American Lives Matter in Raleigh next October.

For more information, or to donate, please contact Chairman Mary Boughton, or Vice Chairman Stephanie Broughton.

Since Thanksgiving, members and friends of the CCRW were out Ringing the Salvation Army Bell three days a week, at two separate locations. Judy Wilgus coordinated the western end of the county at Lowes Foods in Cape Carteret, while Mary Boughton took charge of the eastern end at Hobby Lobby in Morehead City. The  Red Kettle Campaign is a worldwide tradition that enables the Salvation Army to continue its year-round efforts at helping those who would otherwise be forgotten. For Carteret County these efforts help provide toys and food for families in the community during the holiday season, as well as supporting the Salvation Army's social programs and operation costs throughout the year. Major Goldfarb's goal was to raise $80,000 this year! CCRW is proud to be part of this tradition for the last 10 years, and look forward to ringing each year.
