RNC CALLS FOR SPECIAL COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE HUNTER BIDEN

On the one-year anniversary of the publication of bombshell reporting on Hunter Biden's laptop, the RNC has released the following statement:

"The American people deserve an independent special counsel to lead the investigation into Hunter Biden's corrupt business practices. While Hunter is currently being investigated for tax fraud and money laundering, we have recently learned as Vice President, Biden shared a bank account with his son while Hunter was pursuing pay-to-play schemes with foreign oligarchs. Americans deserve full accountability and transparency as to how Biden and his administration are compromised by Hunter Biden." -- RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel

New bombshell revelations uncovered by the Daily Mail reveal Hunter Biden and Joe Biden shared a bank account - even paying many of each other's bills.
- Hunter Biden is under investigation by federal prosecutors for "money laundering" related to his foreign business ties.
Reporting from Business Insider indicated that Hunter Biden touted high-level contacts in the Chinese government while trying to secure a $2 million retainer to unfreeze a Democrat donor's Libyan assets.
Politico recently confirmed the authenticity of many of the emails on Hunter Biden's laptop.
Joe Biden's brother-in-law, Jack Owens, asked Hunter Biden to help him secure a business license in China.
A year later, Owens expressed interest in attending a State Department event with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Joe Biden.

AMERICANS REJECT DEMOCRAT'S RADICAL TAX & SPENDING PLANS

According to a CBS/YouGov poll, a majority of the American people think Democrats' radical $3.5 trillion tax and spending scheme will hurt or have no effect on their family.
- 33% of Americans believe the bill would hurt them and their families, while 31% believe it would have no effect.
- A dismal 36% of Americans believe the bill would help them.
It's not just the bill's astronomical cost that's a problem, it's the substance too. Americans reject the tenants of Democrats' socialist spending scam:
- Tax hikes on those making as little as $50,000 a year.
- An IRS spying scheme.
- Halts on new U.S. oil and gas drilling.
- Energy hikes that will raise your utility bills.
- Mass amnesty.
- Tax breaks for Democrats' allies in the media.
- Trillions in new spending, including for free community college.
- And that's just the beginning: if Bernie Sanders, AOC, and far-left Democrats on Capitol Hill get their way, this bill will drastically impact hard-working Americans.
It will potentially:
- Cost $27,000 per household.
- Worsen inflation.
- Become the "most significant change to the nation's social safety net since Medicare and the Great Society."
- Raise taxes by $2.9 trillion, the largest increase in decades.
- Spend $7.5 billion to create a "Civilian Climate Corps," a demand pushed by far-left environmentalists like the Sunrise Movement, which would pay young Americans to advocate for "environmental justice."
- Spend $3 billion for "tree equity" and millions for "health equity."
- Allocate $5 billion for "climate justice."
- Implement a methane tax which would cost dairy farmers an additional $6,504 per cow.
- Implement woke terminology, replacing mothers with "birthing individuals."
- Spend $7 billion for the post office to buy electric mail trucks.
Under his spending spree, the Joint Committee on Taxation projects families who earn just $50,000 a year will pay more in taxes, breaking Biden's pledge to not to increase taxes on people earning less than $400,000 a year.
Worse yet for the Democrats, Joe Biden's approval numbers are tanking:
- Just 38% of Americans approve of Biden's job performance.
- Only 25% approve of his handling of immigration.
- Less than 2 in 5 Americans support his handling of the economy.
The American people are rejecting Biden's radical spending plans just like they are rejecting his failed leadership as President. Biden should take the hint and reject the far-left radicals who are running his party.

I mourn for American lives lost during Biden's bungled Afghanistan withdrawal and for the Americans he left behind.
