News and Events

STATE AND NATIONAL

COUNTY

CCGOP and members of CCRW, to include Board of Education member Kathryn Chadwick, went to the State Legislature and spoke with elected officials about CRT and unmasking students.

CCGOP, CCRW, & CCRMC are co-hosting the annual Hot Dog & Apple Pie event on Saturday, July 3rd, from 11am to 2pm. This event is open to the public, and we'll be showing off our freshly painted walls and new carpet!

With that being said, we had a great turnout for the "Paint Party" on June 12th. After the morning crew took care of removing items off the walls and spackling the paint crew took over and had the walls covered in less than an hour! One lucky volunteer even learned how to paint, and a pug helped with the trim!

Crystal Coast Republican Women

CCRW held their annual Scholarship / Membership event last week at the Dunes Club in Atlantic Beach. During intermission Trey Allen for NC Supreme Court and Amy Kate Adams Budd spoke about the upcoming elections.
North Carolina Federation of Republican Women President, Pat C. Smith was the guest speaker, and we were so honored to have her join us on the Coast! The NFRW Convention is coming up in September and CCRW can't wait to join her and their fellow Republican Women to represent NC in Orlando.
The Scholarship recipients this year are impressive. William Chadwick and Taylor Bundy have been a "little" busy over the last four years, and certainly have bright futures! We couldn't think of two more deserving. We know they'll be stars at NC State and University of Tennessee. Maybe join the College Republicans? 😉

Crystal Coast Republican Men's Club

CCRMC had their monthly meeting on June 10th. Judge Jefferson Griffin, NC Court of Appeals, was their guest speaker. Dr. Willie Montague, Morehead native and candidate for Congress FL-10, visited as well! Be sure to attend their next meeting at Southern Salt on July 15th!
