Focus on 2024

Filing for '24 political office ended at noon today.

Candidates for county commission or county schools board of education face NO opposition, excepting the Republican Party Primary in commissioner districts 3 and 5. Whoever wins that primary stands to be seated as a commissioner after the November election.

Both our General Assembly members will face opposition in the November election, but nothing in the Primary.

None of our district and superior court judge candidates face any opposition in 2024 races.
