CALL TO ACTION - NC VOTER ID

"The Dishonorable Democrats have done it again, attempting to subvert the lawful will of the people of North Carolina. ACT NOW!

The Democrat-controlled NC State Board of Elections is trying to slip in a page of Photo ID exceptions that will negate our court-approved Photo ID law.

The Photo ID Exemption Form designed by the NC State Board of Elections contains flagrant violations of the intent of the law.

The General Statutes allow them to do this. The legislature left a loophole that allows NCSBE to design the form. So, they have thumbed their noses at NC Voters, the NC Supreme Court, and the spirit of the law by submitting these egregious exceptions. WHY ARE WE NOT SURPRISED!!!

The General Assembly should determine the only and very limited exceptions. The NCSBE should never have been given the authority to create broad exceptions. Call and email your Representatives and tell them to do their jobs to protect our elections. This form is unacceptable.

The exemptions listed in EXCEPTION 1, like item 2, (see photo) render the Photo ID law useless. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse, and ignorance should not be codified into law, nor should the other questionable reasons.

We must storm the Legislature (Senate and House) to close this loophole before they leave this session. Remember, we will still be dealing with a Democrat-controlled Board of Elections in 2023-24.

Please call and email your own local legislators, as well as Senator Berger and Speaker Moore, and ask all of them to CLOSE THIS LOOPHOLE IMMEDIATELY.
